an 8k achievement
My return journey thoughts as I walked Cannonvale Beach to Lagoon (return) with TarzANN...
- Walk/Run with good looking people, it'll make you feel good to be seen with them :)
- Walk/Run with somebody you have not talked to in some time..... it makes for an interesting conversation and breaks the family talk that you are used to at home.
- The value in Gyms is not only the fitness side, rather it is the concentration of like-minded, motivated individuals for a common goal.
- Shave your hair, you will walk faster and save time.
- Sweat is the cries of pain exiting the body.
- Surround yourself with like-minded individuals... the energy given off by others will inspire you to achieve
- Thank people for assisting you along the way.
- Listen to others who have been down the same track, they have some great ideas to adopt.
- Follow the blood trail from the previous day
- Whilst the challenge is to achieve, never put it first over your family. Having a shoulder to cry on is always important. You can always come back to it later on during the day.
- Change who you walk with regularly, it will add some variety to the task and take your mind off the actual walk.
- If you are feeling inspired, go the little extra on your walk. Whilst there will be no credit for the extra mileage, it will feel good inside.
- Eliminate "no" from the conversations.
