'balance' bending

day 73 - how quickly the year travels ...

andrew is consistent with his 3kms a day, often going beyond that, and to date has walked 263kms this year with an 18kg weight loss!

fantastic consistency andrew - and proof for anyone of how just 'a little bit each day', can make a  HUGE amount of difference in the long term, adding up to a whole lot of healthy benefits, well beyond any weight loss ...

*my thoughts*
this past week andrew has walked a TON of hills, increased the walking pace, AND added in the stationery bike, plus gone to balance a couple times - and has the want to try even more this coming week. i admire the desire he has to try 'anything and everything'. his excitement about going to the gym is incredibly motivating and inspiring -
he has added a new goal to his year - to run a 5 or 10k in brisbane in september - and already i know he will be in a position to not only achieve that goal, but, to do it well. (soon he might change that to a half marathon :P~~~ hey never say never!) - he has the determination and it has been so great, and a privilege, to witness the changes - the physical and the mindset - in andrew firsthand.

incredibly proud andrew, keep up the enthusiasm. you are doing GREAT things for yourself, the additonal bonus, GREAT things, for sarah and the kids!
awesome achievements so far.
