manooka madness

bumped into andrew at the green gecko early morn sneaking a breakfast in so he didn't have to prepare it himself at home - fortunately, vegie omelette, he had made the right choice, imagine he was discovered instead at the fish and chip shop across from where he sat :P NEVER know who is watching!!!
after i had finished my chores around the centre headed back to him and we chatted awhile about goals and the whereto's and set an action plan for the week ....
so
before ses this evening we hit the hills - starting at manooka and meandering around the area - huffy puffy work
when we finished and got back to the shed, he told he he was racing home as he had forgotten his uniform, he had actually gone out to drive our route to find the distance, though there was a section where where we travelled through mud, bushland, mozzies, leeches and black panthers (ok i exaggerate a tad!) BUT it nearly destroyed my colourful shoes! and the car of course he could not have driven through that ...
i had said to him it was around 4k and he could mark it down as that result, obviously he wasn't happy with that! - he came back, proudly informed me it was 4.6kms!!!! haha - he wants it marked as such - i said he could take 5 if he goes and does another 400metres, otherwise it is marked down as a 4km day :D there will be NO cheating mark ups to get to 1095 sooner!!!! ha
so a 4km day on some hills - a nice little sweaty effort for a pre-ses tuesday
